Diversity & Inclusion identity

Pearson Plc own a group of publishing companies, including Penguin Books, the FT, The Economist and their own Pearson Publishing. As a global concern, they take diversity & inclusion very seriously and it is a key part of their recruitment and staffing policy. As a result the Diversity & Inclusion team asked for an identity to encourage these qualities across the group, and promote its benefits to the business.

The solution was inspired by seeing an opened book.We turned our logo into a bright, optimistic, positive sunrise in the form of an opened book, with the pages varying in size and shape to reflect the different formats of publications and also the different types of people who come together to create something very positive and inspirational.
